The witches of the east had traveled far from home knowing it was the only way to put the evil curse back where it belonged. To rid the world of the curse they needed to bury the stone far beneath the earth, in a cool dry place, far away from civilization where it would be once and for all, out of harm's way. As the witches gathered around the burial, they chanted as they held the stone high. "Oh great earth take this stone, and rid it of the curse, make no humans hands touch again, the evilness of its birth. If it happens earth will turn and power will be bestowed, let no human be fooled by the power of the stone. For in its bliss the innocent shall find, a power stronger then their own, here we stand united as one, to leave the stone undone. Take the power of it, and stop, the glitter and the charm, make the stone ordinary, and keep the world from harm." The highest witch ZanJura, threw the stone in the grave, as the other witches, Ledia, DeZanna, Mihilla, and Sandare, joined hands, and chanted. As they watched the flicker of the stone dim, they continued their chant until the light was snuffed out. Then, and only then was the first pieces of dirt allowed to hit it.Satisfied, the witches continued with the burial, then looked at one another as they placed a marker on the cursed site. Turning they left the burial, still holding hands, and made their way back home. |
