Shelly Lynn Masters had left the bar thankful she wasn’t drunk.
Right now, she wanted nothing more then to sleep, and turned up the
radio to help keep her awake.
As she sped down the road, she smiled when she thought about
how Scotty Sherman tried to kiss her, as they slowed danced in the
club, earlier that evening.
Suddenly, she got a chill, when she spotted the tunnel ahead.
Ever since she was little, she never liked going through the tunnel.
Whenever she did with her parents, she would close her eyes,
frightened that something would pop out at her.
Now, she didn’t have a choice, the tunnel was the only way for
her to get home.
Tonight was even spookier because in a few days, it would be
Halloween, and earlier in the day, one of her friends had put the book
of witchery in her car, on the backseat.
As the tunnel drew closer, Shelly Lynn felt her hands go clammy
on the steering wheel. The closer she came to the tunnel, the faster
her heart raced.
Finally, she pulled over to the side of the road, and stared at the
entrance.
Then she saw them, and knew they were real, as she watched
them slither, but how would she explain to anyone what lived in the
tunnel?
Shelly Lynn rolled up all the windows, locked the doors, and then
turned to check the backseat.
Her eyes grew big as she watched the witchery book glow red in
the darkness of the night.
She spun around, panicked, then threw the car in drive, punched
the gas so hard she felt the backend of the car sway, then took off
through the: VICIOUS TUNNEL
