What is the outcome when a twelve year old
begins his summer vacation; only to find out he is
being framed?
Meet Jake McCauley. He has made some intense
plans with his friends for the summer, and knew
this year was going to be different. His parents
were going to allow him to do more because he
was older.
Little did he know he would become the target in
one killer’s sick mind.
It starts when Jake finds a dead body hanging in a
tree in the woods, behind his house. At first, he
tells no one because he is too afraid of what will
happen if he does. Until one night, he gives in, and
tells his best friend Mike Cartwell the whole story.
Together the two of them head back to the woods
to search for the body, and much to the boys’
surprise, it is still there. Right where Jake
remembered.
Jake swears Mike to secrecy, never to tell a soul
about what they discovered, and shares with Mike
the notes the killer has left behind with Jake’s
name written on the envelopes.
However, that one night changes the fate of Jake
forever, when the police find a clue left behind at
another crime scene. Suddenly, the detectives
turn their investigation towards him, making Jake
the number one suspect in the murders.
As the summer continues, Jake finds himself
trapped in the sick games; the killer wants to play,
and Jake suddenly realizes the killer has turned
his aggression on Jake’s family, and Jake
disappears.
Now the only one left to help the detectives find
Jake, and the killer, is Mike, who is torn between
wanting to find his best friend, and being sworn to
secrecy by Jake.
As time runs out, will Mike tell the detectives
everything he knows about the murders, or will he
keep his promise to Jake, and: BE SILENT?
He moves so quietly, leaving dead bodies in his wake, Leaving clues to frame one kid, a twelve year old named Jake!
